Proofs of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from the Bible

This is a common problem people think that they have the power to change someone’s belief. You cannot even stop your own desires so how could you change anyone else’s opinion never mind faith.

As for the apparent rebuttals that you have given none are based on any facts. If you have recorded sources then please forward them to me.

My belief is like the belief of all the Prophets which I believe in God without description other than the description that God gave himself.

Even in modern times you can find different types of the bible and there are many differences even the King James Version is different.

Whilst the Quran has one version that’s it even groups that disagree, agree that the Quran is protected. Then compare this to the bible it has several versions if not hundreds and people will buy a bible that they are happy with. If you like to drink and sleep with anyone you want then you buy the appropriate bible. So does this mean God was wrong when he sent mankind the bible? Because changing the original scripture to modern ways of live is stupid and in denial of the original message.

All the holidays are pagan holidays and they have roots in paganism and they were not reclaimed they were changed by the Christians. In order to spread Christianity easier. Like yourself you think by not praying and by just being a good person will save you but your belief is against all the Prophets and my belief is like the Prophets so I will go with them inshallah. If you belief something that’s is paganism don’t be surprised if you join the pagans!

As for yourself it’s a pagan belief system and a lot of what you said makes no sense because its not based on sources its based on conjecture.

In the king James version I have it does not give who actually said it, it is part of Psalms of David which can neither be sure that they correct because the original texts were destroyed when nebacessar invaded Jerusalam and then the next time the texts re-surface is years later.

The old and new testament has references to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) like:
Psalms 84:5-6
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Holy Qur'an 3:96-97
96 The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:

Becca is what Mecca was known as.

Isaiah 29:12 (read verses 11 through 18 for full context)
And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

This is how the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in the cave of hira. The Angel Gabriel came to him and ordered him to read and he said, "I am not a reader."

Deutronomy 18:18-19
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
And he (Ishmael) shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Genesis 16:12).
And he (Ishmael) died in the presence of all his brethren. (Genesis 25:18).

One of numerous examples of '...and I will put my words into his mouth...' is given below from the Qur'an; the verses begin with the word 'Say':
"Say (O Muhammad): He Is Allah the One and Only;
Allah, the Eternal Absolute;
He Begetteth Not, Nor Is He Begotten:
And There Is None like unto Him.
(Qur'an 112:1-4)

The evidence for 'he shall speak in my name':
Every Surah (Chapter) of the Qur'an, except the ninth, begins with the words:
"In The Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful."

The Quran was revealed in verses and parts not all at once
Isaiah 28:10-13 (read verses 10 through 16 for full context)
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isaiah 21.13
The burden on Arabia. in the forest in Arabia

Burden here translated to from the word wah'i which means revelation. He was the only Arab Prophet.

Deuteronomy 33:1-3
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

It was ten thousand companions who accompanied the Prophet in the triumphant entry of Makkah and cleansing of Ka'bah of Idols.

Isaiah 60 Verses 6 to 18:
6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

The Ka'bah is not exactly cubical and its sides are not of the same length. The Holy Sanctuary (Haram) of which Ka'abah is at the center remains open day and night throughout the year and it is always filled with people praying and supplicating to Allah (the One True God). Muslims face toward it during prayer forming circle in the Haram (Holy House) and the circle extends out in this manner throughout the planet Earth.
The holy sanctuary (Haram) has remained unconquerable. Abraha al-Ashram, the Abbysinian viceroy of Yemen, tried to demolish it in 570 CE with a strong army and hordes of elephants but was prevented from entering the city (Holy precinct). The people of Makkah had decided not to defend the Ka'bah, fled the city and took refuge in nearby hills overlooking Ka'bah. By Allah's Command, the 'Abaabeel' (flying creatures, birds) pelted stones at Abraha's army and decimated it, leaving them like green crops devoured by cattle. This incident is described in the Surah (chapter) 105 of the Qur'an. The year 570 CE is popularly known by the Arabs as 'The year of the Elephant,' and Prophet Muhammad was born in that year.

Song of Solomon 5:16
His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

The phrase "he is altogether lovely" reads in the Hebrew as "he is Mahamaddim."

Haggai 2:7-9
And I will shake all nations, and the Himada of all the nations will come; and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. Mine is the silver, mine is the gold, says the Lord of hosts, the glory of my last house shall be greater than that of the first one, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place I will give Shalom, says the Lord of Hosts. (Quoted from Reference 4).

The Hebrew words Mahmad, Mahamod, Himdah, and Hemed appearing in the Old Testament and the Arabic words Muhammad and Ahmad are all derived from the same root "H, M and D," and refer to the same general meaning. These Hebrew words convey qualities as well as the person depending on the phrase used in the Old Testament.

The Hebrew word Shalom and the Arabic word Salam have the same meaning - peace. They are derived from the root alphabets "S, L and M." Islam is also derived from the same root alphabets and means the path of peace.

Genesis 25:12-16
12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

Ezekiel 27.21
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

The dominate trade in Mecca was people who buying and selling, Merchants!

"AND THE AHMED OF ALL NATIONS WILL COME." - HAGGAI, ii.7.

the same root words as the name Muhammad

The new Testament
John 1.19
And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are thou? 20. And he confessed, and denied not: but confessed, I am not the Chrsit.21. And they asked him, what then? Art thou Elias? and he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? and he answered no.

So there was questioning of the Prophet John about three people who was that Prophet? He is Muhammad.

Jesus (upon him peace) said,
"If you love me, keep my commandments.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of
these least commandments, and shall
teach men so, he shall be called the
least in the kingdom of heaven . . ." (matthew 5:19)

The Ten Commandments are meant here and ascribing another deity to God is breaking the first and most important commandment.

1. I am the Lord your God
2. You shall have no other gods before me
3. You shall not make for yourself an idol

Jesus says in John 16.7
"Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but I depart, I will sent him to you."

Who is the comforter? the Quran describes the Prophet Muhammad as a mercy to the universe what else could a mercy be except comfort!

John 16.13
"... for he shall not speak from himself but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak."

In the new English bible says
"For he will not speak on his own authority, but will tell only what he hears."

The revelation of the Quran was heard or delievered to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) like this by the angel Gabriel and sometimes directly.

Jesus 7

You see the problem here is about how we understand God. I believe that God is all powerful and does not have any weak attributes. Also Muslims believe that God is uncreated.

So with these principles already in place, why would god need to come in the form of a man into the world.

You see an uncreated thing cannot follow rules of something thats created. If you refute this then then in your words you are bring God to the level of a human. Which is impossible when you think about it rationally.

God spoke to Moses (upon him peace) directly and this is not that he came into the created world and spoke. Gods words there were for Moses and no one else. You see you are trying to understand things using unsound logic.

God doesn't enter spirits into people, you can enter faith but if you believe this then its not something that the previous prophets. As all the previous prophets believed in God without description so if this is correct then trinity is wrong because its a pagan concept and got nothing to do with God.

Also please respond to the questions that I have posed you because all you are doing now is trying to kill me with kindess.

Quran who wrote it 2

Well he was unlettered, he could not read or write nor was there any scholars. Nor is there any evidence to suggest he did that.

Because if he learned from someone else then maybe he can hide it for a while but not for long and he would eventually be found out. There are no evidence to back this even from his enemies’ of the time this was never part of their insults.

Also would you criticise yourself in the middle of your book, He turned and frowned sura 80.

Also the only bible available was not whole it was in parts and it was in Hebrew. He spoke Arabic so he would've had to learn another language this also would've noticed by someone.

So this is an old argument and it holds no water.

Was Islam spread by the sword? 2

The period when Islam flourished, during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was after the truce of huddayybiah. Over a period of one and a half years more people became Muslims in this period than ever before. This is written by Ibn Kathir and many others. Which sword made them do this? It wasn't a sword it was seeing changed human beings who were amazing thats what converted them and thats what people don't understand.

Protecting the rights of non-Muslims

Read history Islam is only religion to accept that there are other people of other religions that have rights. Christans refused to accept anyone elses rights except Christans even then they had to belong to their sect. And the only reason that they are accepted now is because of the abandonment of christanity not the application.

In fact Jews and Christans have their own courts in Islamic countries and this is normal. Even know the Lebanon parliment has a Christan member of parliement in the most senior position, second only to the Leader.

Likewise in Egypt there are many christans who make up much of the parliment there.
One of the greatest stories about Islam was when one the rules of Islam Ali ibn Abu Talib was taken to court by a Jewish person and the judge ruled against its own ruler in favour of the Jew! When the Jew heard this then he could believe it, "You are ruling against your own ruler in my favour? Then I am a muslim." He accepted Islam after that.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said, "I will testify against my nation when they oppress those who they have sworn to protect." The people who were under their protection were Christan and Jews.

Quran and Women

There verses in the Quran that allow polyogamy then please see this answer. this was allowed in most world societies and if women did not marry in these times then they would suffer extreme hardship don't forget that women were not allowed to own their own land until the last 50 years in the west.

When in Islam women had rights of ownership.

Yes the caliphs did have excessive partners and slave but this is not part of the practice of the original practice of the companions but this was due to the people in power. Yes many did unislamic things but there are many that did the right thing please read Imam Suyuti Khulfa Rashidoon and you can the good that some caliphs did like Umar ibn Abdulaziz II the great ummayyad caliph who ruled from 717-720.

No there is nothing in the Quran to justify going over the top and this is what they did.
The Quran is not against women consider this that the only woman named in the Quran is Mary mother of Jesus. She is more honoured in the Quran than the bible. There is a story that before she was born her mother made a prayer that she would sacrifice what she had in her belly to Allah/God. And Allah send her a baby girl. Think about this, this was Mary mother of Jesus.
Also the mother of Moses is also honoured as is the Queen Sheba who married the Prophet Suleman. The Quran also states that women will get what they deserve in Heaven as will men. The Quran states in the chapter called "The Woman" [4:32]
"Women shall have a benefit from what they earn. Ask, therefore, God [to give you] out of His bounty: behold, God has indeed full knowledge of everything."

Please read the history of Muslims by hodgson called the venture of Islam which is one of the best in the english language.
Please contact me directly and ask me what you like because there where corrupt leaders of Islam but what I have learnt no matter how bad our leaders were the non-Muslim leaders were much worse.

Adam and Eve's children were brothers and sisters , then how did the next generation came into existence ?

There are a few ways this is explained, they could marry but not a sister or brother of the same womb. This was the rule.

1. This can either be because there was no law against this at this time. Therefore for them it was not illegal.

2. Each womb was a nation and this why they couldn't marry the ones who they shared a womb with.

This is a minor issue do we need the bible to explain this? Does it matter? Not really and we can use the bible but only to what we are allowed to within our own belief.

Jesus(upon him peace) 6

When a person slanders someone then asks to respectfully engage in discussion forgive me if I am not forthcoming. I read your profile and it states you have no religion and here you are stating the Christan belief of the Trinity. This like the belief that Jesus is contradictory like your claims.

Yes I as other Muslims believe that Jesus (upon him peace) is a Prophet also that a Muslims faith is incomplete with it. Although what Muslims reject is what other christans claim he said. Even at the beginning of Christanity there are various streams of belief like the nestorians, the Ebounites etc. Some claim his divinity and others reject so even with Christanity there are various groups.

Aruis a noted christan rejected the belief of trinity even though he was forced to teach it by the Roman empire. It was the roman emperor jioined some pagan Greek beliefs and mixed it into christanity. Paul was refuted by Banarbas and thats why he left him.

Now consider the following quotes from your own bible

A cow gives birth to a cow, a chicken gives birth to chick, a dog gives birth to a dog. So how can a woman give birth to a god?

All these verse prove that he is not diety because:-Jesus talked about God as His God, but God has no God. He talked to God as if they were seperate, if he was part of the same being then why would he need to talk. He could just think.

-Jesus prayed to God instead of to himself. Did Jesus worship himself? How is that possible!!

-Jesus got hungry and thirsty (Matt. 4:2; John 19:28), but God never gets hungry or thirsty (Psalm 50:9-13; Acts 17:25). How can a deity need food? that means he needs something, how can a god be in need? This negates deity.

-Jesus was tempted by the devil (Matt.4:1 & Heb.4:15), but God cannot be tempted (James 1:13). This means that the devil can control god, how can that be correct!

-Jesus learned obedience and grew up into a mature and perfect man (Hebrews 5:9), but God never changes (James 1:17). How can god grow? so was he eternally as a child or as an adult this is cannot be.

-Jesus was born and also died, but God is everlasting.

- The father is greater than I - this means he is not equal or eternal. Negating more facts that he is not a diety

This idea of sacrificial lamb comes from the pagan deity Mythra, he was known as the sacrifice that would bring the world out of sin. Yet this could any number of pagan deity's such as Baal, who is was believed was the son of the sun, he was born on December 25th, the exact time of the winter solstice and was killed for all our sins. Early christains used to worship on saturday and then it was changed to sun-day, the day of the sun!

The verses he has quoted is prove for sacrifice which was animal sacrifice not a human one. Human sacrifices were banned by God so why would he then change his mind!
We believe that Jesus is in heaven and will return to kill the dajjal or anti-christ.
I'd advise you check out Ahmed deedats work, you can view it here, you'll have to scroll and join then you can view the video is Jesus a god?

Muslims are bound to believe in the books that God/Allah sent to previous prophets. Although we cannot be certain of the content we are can read the texts but we cannot take laws from them. I have read both the old testement and the new one.

During the nicean creed more than 200+ gospels were thrown out including the gospel of Banarbus. If he was a god then everything he said would've been perfect and wouldn't need to be edited would it? Yet there are the apocraphal gospels which cause problems to the belief of trinity.

How can a deity feel pain? when it is supposed to complete and unable to be human? If he suffered for our sins then he would have to feel pain, right? Is that why they weren't used?
If you believe that he is three part of one how can this be, When he said that the father is greater than I?

Can a woman be an Imam?

A woman can be an Imam of women but not of men, you see Aisha and Fatima are known to be among the greatest women of all time and they followed the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) in prayer. What does that tell you? If they are context to be like that, what about us?

Classically women were scholars of hadith and they were massive scholars in this field. A scholar is at a higher degree than an Imam. Its a religion of shyness and it better for a man not to have see a woman bend over in front of him!

She can lead women in prayer but not a mixed gathering

The role of Albanians in the Holocaust

The Holocaust in Albania
Albania is unique in that it is the only European country occupied by the Nazis that ended World War II with a larger Jewish population than before the War. The Albanian response to the Holocaust is especially notable because it was Europe's only largely Muslim country. Even so only a Jewish family of six was deported and killed during the Nazi occupation of Albania [10]. Not only did the Albanians protect their own Jews, but they provided refuge for Jews from neighboring countries. The Albanians refused to compile and hand over lists of Jews. Instead they provided the Jewish families with fake documents and helped them disperse in the Albanian population[11].

The role of Albanians in the Holocaust has become a factor in the current issue over the independence of Kosovo. One pro-Serbian[citation needed] [12] author, Carl Savitch, writes that Italian forces in Albania rejected the Final Solution as “the German disease” and did not enforce anti-Jewish measures. This is why Albanian Jews were “rescued” in Albania, not because of anything the Albanians did themselves. Yad Vashem maintains it was both the policy of the occupying Italian authorities and the Albanian population that protected the Jews in Albania proper. [13].

There was no history of ideological anti-Semitism in Albania, Greece or Bulgaria. So, Albania was not unique in this regard. The small number of Jews in Albania also played a key role in the possibility to protect them all. During the Italian occupation, they were able to disperse and blend in with the general population. When Germany occupied Albania in 1943, the Jewish population was already beyond reach. However, the role of Albanian population on saving Jews is undeniable

Christans during the life of the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

Well no, The Christans in Medina and Mecca where people who believed that Jesus (upon him peace) was a God. They were normal people by the average standards of the time. Gnostics would normally be holed up in a monastry or something, right? Most of the christans at that place lived like everyone else.

Yes, he did have some interesting meeting with some monks.

Meeting with the Monk Bahira

The Prophet’s first meeting with a Christian occurred when he, as a young boy aged between nine or twelve, joined his uncle’s merchant caravan for a trip to Syria. The Christian whom the Prophet Muhammad encountered was the monk, Bahira, who was living in Bostra, a Roman colonial city. Monk Bahira was known for his belief that a prophet was soon to appear among the Arabs. Bahira had studied old manuscripts, where he had learned of the coming of a final prophet, and he was convinced that this prophet would appear in his own lifetime. He was particularly interested in the Arab merchants who visited Syria, to see if his conviction would come true.

Bahira’s attention was struck in particular by a caravan from Makka, which to his amazement, was shaded by a cloud that hovered closely above them. The cloud moved as the caravan moved, and did not go any further when they stopped; it was as if it were providing shade for a person or people in the group. When he also noticed that a tree lowered its branches over the caravan to provide further shade, he immediately realized that this caravan must contain an extraordinary person or persons. He invited all of the individuals in the caravan to a meal at his place, but none of their faces revealed the capacity of the expected Prophet. He inquired if there was anyone who had not joined the meal; the answer he received was that Muhammad had been left behind to watch the caravan. He was keen to see Muhammad; and when he actually saw him he realized that he carried all the signs that the awaited Prophet was to have, as described in his books. He told Muhammad’s uncle to take him back to Makka as soon as possible in order to guard him against potential enemies.

This incident is used by some Western scholars as a basis to claim that Muhammad learned about the Judeo-Christian tradition from this monk, and that he later converted this knowl-edge into a new religion, i.e. Islam. However, it would not be logical or reasonable to adopt such an idea; Prophet Muhammad was far too young to acquire such an immense knowledge and the conversation between the monk and Muhammad was not a protracted one.

Waraqa ibn Nawfal

Prophet Muhammad also had some encounters with one of the known Arab Christians in Makka, Waraqa ibn Nawfal. Waraqa was a respected man of his time and a well-known Christian scholar. When the Prophet received his first Qur’anic revelation on Mount Hira, it had a great impact on him. Following this unusual experience, he went home, feeling ill. His wife Khadija took the Prophet to Waraqa and told him about the revelation.7 After listening to Prophet Muhammad, Waraqa said that it was Gabriel, the Angel of Revelation, who had come to him, just as he had come to Moses, and he added, “I wish I were young.”

Waraqa was an open-minded man; he converted from paganism to Christianity and also understood the features of the revelation that had been given to Muhammad. He sincerely supported Muhammad as a Christian believer when he understood that he was the awaited prophet, after Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them. Waraqa encouraged Muhammad to continue his call, without any doubt that God would protect him. This is a fine example of cooperation between a well known Christian scholar and the would-be Prophet.

The Abyssinian King (Negus) and The First Immigrants

When the Messenger of God began to declare his message openly, the Makkan pagans started to severely oppose him and the new Muslims, making many problems for them. Several Muslims died, with even more being humiliated and alienated. The Prophet realized that Makka was becoming a difficult place for Muslims to live in. He had his uncle as his protector; but there were many Muslims who had no protection from the aggressions of the Makkan pagans. He decided to send some of them to Abyssinia, especially those who had no effective protection; Abyssinia at the time was ruled by a Christian ruler. The Prophet told the group that King (Negus) of Abyssinia was a Christian, so they would be safe there.9 It is likely that Prophet Muhammad had some knowledge that the King was a peaceful and lenient ruler.

At the outset, eleven Muslims immigrated to Abyssinia. Later, they were joined by about 83 adult Muslims, women and men.10 Abyssinia was the Prophet’s choice; he felt that Christians were closer to Muslims than the Makkan pagans. When the first Muslim guests arrived there, they met with the King. Ja’far, as leader of the immigrants, gave the Prophet’s letter to the King, which read: “I have sent my cousin Ja’far to you, accompanied by a small number of Muslims; if he comes to you, receive them in hospitality . . .” The King welcomed them and promised to protect them from their enemies. In the royal presence a question was put to them: “What do you say concerning Jesus?” The spokesman for the group replied, “concerning Jesus we can only say what our Prophet has taught us: Jesus is the servant and messenger of God, the spirit and word of God, whom God entrusted to the Virgin Mary.” When the King Negus heard this testimony, he picked up a twig from the ground and said, “I swear, the difference between what we believe about Jesus, the Son of Mary, and what you have said is not greater than the width of this twig.”

When the Makkans heard that the Muslims had begun to live within the Christian community peacefully, they sent a delegation of learn-ed people to the King to persuade him to deport the Muslims from Abyssinia. There was a debate in front of the King between the Muslims and the Makkan delegation about what and how the Muslims believed. After the end of the debate, the King rejected the requests of the Makkans along with their gifts. This was the first helping hand for the young but frail Muslim community from a Christian ruler. This ruler later became Muslim and hid it from his people and prayed over by the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) after he died.

Muslims in war

War in Islam is a high calling but he has to have a justifiable means not just end. It also has to make things better not worse, if it makes things worse then its left.

There are two kind of struggle spiritual and physical, the spiritual one is higher.

the King "Herucl", sent out an army of 100,000 men and ordered them to go to "Medina" in what we call today Saudi Arabia to destroy Islam once and for all.

The Muslims were not stable yet at that time, and they only sent out an army of 3,000 men at that time to drive the Christian Romans away from Medina. The battle was named "The battle of Mo'ta" and it took place in Mo'ta, Jordan today.

The Muslims' plan was to meet the Christian Romans far away from Madina, and to have them stray away from Madina. The army of 3,000 men was successful enough to fight the Christian Romans for few days and then to pull away from the battle and headed South of Jordan. The Romans strayed away from Medina and the small army of the Muslims was able to run away through the mountains. More than half of the 3,000 Muslims however were killed in this operation.

The point is that Islam didn't spread by sword with much choice. The wars were imposed upon the Muslims. The Muslims didn't ask for those wars.

Non-Muslim children who die before reaching maturity

There is also an understanding that any child that dies before the age of discernment or maturity, then that child goes to heaven. Also the people who the message of Islam has not reached and the people who got the message but couldn't understand it.

On the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings of God be upon him) night journey, he saw the Prophet Abraham (upon him peace) entertaining children. When it was asked who these children were then it was answered that these were the children who died on the pure faith. The belief in one God/Allah. This was in a level in Heaven.

Original sin?

Everyone dies because this is part of life.

As for Adam (upon him Peace) sin, Muslims don't consider this a sin, we do not believe that we are being punished for this sin neither are we born in sin. In fact there was many benefits gained here, one is that the envy of satan became manifest. Also Adam and Eve (upon them peace) were sent to complete the earth! Yes to complete the earth, How? Well if you have built a house and have no people in them is the house complete? It was made for someone to live there and that was its purpose. The earths purpose was to be a shelter for mankind. As far Islam is concerned every person is born pure and innocent.

If you believe that all of mankind was born in sin then was Jesus (upon him peace) born in sin then? Then was crucified for his own sins? according to you but not the Muslims who believe that he was raised into heaven and will return to kill the anti-christ - Dajjal in Arabic.

According to the Judaic noahide laws the first is a prohibition of idolatry which is what has happened in the case of Jesus (upon him peace). All the Prophets believed in God alone and that he had nor has any partners. The "sacrifice" of Jesus (upon him peace) has so many pagan roots its unbelievable, Baal, Mithra and Paul of Babylon. Look them up.

Jesus in Islam 4

If Jesus (upon him peace) was what you say he was, he ate, slept, bled, cried and did all other normal things that a human does. How could he be anything else but human?

How can a God be in need?

Jesus said in the bible, "How can a slave have two masters?"

Meida 5.116 "And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy Mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower of Things Hidden?"

Jesus was a practicing Jew and did not make much changed to the sacred law. Christians believe that God is three then why is none of the Prophets claimed this, surely if they where prophets shouldn't they know? Why is it that the trinity wasn’t part of christan theology until the roman emperor Constantine forced it upon the people? Why is that many pagan symbols where adopted into Christianity, they used to worship on a Saturday then changed it to Sunday, the day of the sun. The pagan deity called Baal was believed to be born on the 25th, he was the son of the sun.

Also in the persian mythriac religion the son of god was sent to cleanse the world of sin, this what the bible says. Why is that that Jesus didn not change the religion as much as others did yet he has the right to do so.

Its Christianity that doesn’t agree with Jesus (upon him peace) not the other way round.

Is Allah everywhere or in the heaven?

No this is wrong I am afraid and now it became wajib for me to speak.

Allah is the creator of time and space therefore he does not need for him to be. Something needs time and space to somewhere; someone like myself because I am created.

So how can creator need time and space before he actually created them. Answer is he cannot because is has never been in a state of need and will never be in a state of need. To be in need is a sign of a created thing. So creator is never in need and creation is always in need. This includes any false belief that Allah is "in" something like heaven. That would mean that Allah could be encompassed by something which is again impossible. Logically a created being and encompass a created item but nothing can encompass something that is uncreated. This is the belief of the majority.

It is permissible to say Allah's knowledge is everywhere. For a person who doesn't understand this.

Allah mentions certian parts in the Quran which itself warns against likening Allah to man. Sura Ahl imran verse seven
"[3:7]
It is He who sent down upon thee the Book, wherein are verses clear that are the Essence of the Book, and others ambiguous. As for those in whose hearts is swerving, they follow the ambiguous part, desiring dissension, and desiring its interpretation; and none knows its interpretation, save only God. And those firmly rooted in knowledge say, ’We believe in it; all is from our Lord’; yet none remembers, but men possessed of minds."

Some verses are clear and others are ambiguous, so steer clear to the ambiguous verses and you'll be safe. Many people read too much into these verses and do not truly understand them and this leads to tributlation.

If we consider that man made the television, does that mean that the television can understand man? Never, because its not got the capacity to do so. We can never understand Allah, so could we liken him to have human parts? This is misguidance and I beg brothers and sisters to stay from this because its a dangerous road.

Allah is where there is no time or space because they are his servants not the other way around.

Please email me if you do not understand because this is really important that you understand this fact.

More miracles

He is the final Prophet of mankind, the seal of the Prophets and Messengers. He renewed monetheism and removed paganism, he taught us how to live and be in the world and yet be with God in our hearts.

Here are some examples of his Miracles, some scholars name the amount as much as three thousand. I'll try to mention some here.

He had water pour form his hands enough for about 1,000 people to perform ablution, to drink and their animals to drink.

He was told that they wouldn't believe unless the moon split into two. He raised his hands and the moon split in two, there is a narration that a king in India saw it and became Muslim after hearing the news of a new religion.

Once a man came with a lizard in his hand and said I wont believe until this lizard believes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon) asked the lizard, it said, "I testify there is only one God and that you are his messenger."

Another time, some rocks could be heard praising God in his hand.

Once someone told him he wouldn't believe unless he saw a miracle. The Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) called a tree, which uprooted itself and came to the Prophet.
Many times, food would be multiplied when he was there

The greatest miracle is the Quran which is in the same language as its revelation and is preserved from all harm.

His guardian Abu Talib noticed that when Muhammad would eat first then the food would be enough for the rest of his family. They were poor, Abu Talib would make Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) start first. If they didn’t then the food would not suffice them.

He one went to a companions house, who cooked a small lamb and told him not to look in the pot and keep dishing it out. He did so about 500 people where fed, with the lamb as it was when it was cooked.

Once they had little food, so they gathered their dates and ate from them and the number did not decease.

He used to talk to the Muslim whilst leaning on a tree, when a Muslim woman built him a platform to stand on. The tree began to cry like a baby and he had to hug it to stop, to the companions, it sounded like a baby being comforted.

He predicted future events like the fall of Constantinople to the Muslims in 1492.

Wahabi history

The most radical state is Saudi Arabia due in whole and part to the Wahabi/selefian movement. Which was a radical movement that began with Ibn abdul-wahab in the late eighteenth century, he teamed up with one of the forefather of Ibn Saud who was a bandit at the time. Together they wanted to usurp the rule of th Ottomans in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. They succeeded in murdering and massacring there ways and killed anyone who didn't agree with them. They were initially defeated by the sons of Muhammad Ali Pasha an Egyptian ruler and then fled to Kuwait. Until the returned to Mecca due to British funding and massacred the inhabitants of the two cities mentioned - this is circa 1920's.
After they established rule and oil was found an empire was born. The Saudis are one of the closest allies in this war.

You also have to bear in mind that Osama ibn laden was a former CIA operative working in Afghanistan against the Russians. He was given some 30 million by the CIA to fight the Russians, which they did. He used religion to expound his ideas due to his teacher Ayman Az-Zawahri, who planted these ideas in. The CIA call it "blowback" when an operation that they funded turns on them. They believe that the non-believers should be killed because they don't believe.

These are the two main radical groups out there now and strangely enough they wouldn't be that strong without the funding of outside forces, because they could be dealt with quite easily, internally. Seen as it benefit some people to have Muslims fighting people then its okay. As you can see all of this thought is rubbish, we deliever the message and then what the people do it up them we don't force the religion upon anyone.

I really feel this whole war on terrorism is one big charade that there isn't two sets of people, theres just one. If say this what will you say? I'll say this and this will cause and upset, they are both on the same side. They both dress differently and think up ideas of how to upset people and cause war. Whilst they enjoy the comforts of life and other people are being killed they don't care. They are watching the bank balance grow thanks to the opium, gas and oil sales. They don't care about human life they care about profit and there’s no profit in peace.

One religion

Your God is our God is the same God, we call God Allah this is his name that encompasses all his attributes, one of the Jewish names for God is Elohim which is from the same Arabic root. Christains and Jews call God - Allah in Arabic speaking countries. Even in translations of the bible in Arabic they use Allah. Do you still deny the fact that they are one and the same?

In terms of our theological belief we do not describe him as an entity, we define him for the sake of confirmation.

You see that the first commandment is 1.Prohibition of Idolatry: - There is only one God. You shall not make for yourself an idol.

This is basically the Islamic testification of faith, "There is no deity except God and Muhammad is the Messenger."

This was the belief of all the Prophets before Christianity, so does this mean that they didn't believe it. Why wasn't ever mentioned by anyone? That's because it was something that added to Christianity by emperor Constantine in the 4th century.

Even your own words are contradictory, firstly you are say Jesus is god then you are saying God is one. If Jesus is what are saying then how could the devil take him somewhere like the Bible says. How can a god be controlled by the devil. Jesus (upon him peace) said, "That a slave can only have one master." SO the real question is why you believe something that is sound and not self-contradictory.

Adam completed the Earth

Muslims don't believe in the original sin not do we believe that mankind is being punished for it. Rather we believe Adam (upon him peace) was sent down to earth to complete the earth. God said he was going to send a vivegerent on the earth and when he did the earth was complete.

Its like building a house, is it complete without people who live in it? No, now that there are people living in it, its serving its purpose.

Umar ibn Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon) used to say that if Satan would come one way and see Umar, that he would cross the road.

Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave opinions that matched the Quran, before the revelation was sent. The are books written about this.

One amazing story was about Umar Ibn Khattab who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). Umar found a old Jewish man begging he asked him why he was begging? The man said that he had to pay tax. Umar commanded that he be given money from the public funds and scolded the governor of that city. Then put laws into place that old people would receive a wage when they became old. The first pension? This was in the during his reign in the years 634-644.

New Muslim

One of my friends advised me to tell people who convert to Islam - he is himself a convert - to keep it from your parents.
Practice when they cannot see you and make slow changes like abstaining from certain foods. Then one day leave the door open and let them see you praying.

Try to keep the company of some good Muslim sisters if you can and but please stay with your family and preserve your bonds of kinship. If I can help further please contact me.

Taliban

The whole war on terror is an error, If your looking for the guilty party then look inwardly at the election process.

This is from someone elses question

"USA supported Bin Laden and the Taliban for years, and viewed them as Freedom fighters against the Russians?
As late as 1998, the US was paying the salary of every single Taliban official in Afghanistan? There is more oil and gas in the Caspian Sea, but you need a pipeline through Afghanistan to get that out?
UNOCAL, a giant oil conglomerate, wanted to build a 1000 mile pipeline from the Caspian Sea through Afghanistan to the Arabian Sea? UNOCAL spent $10,000,000,000 on geological studies for the pipeline construction, and courted the Taliban for their support in allowing the construction to begin?
All leading Taliban officials were in Texas negotiating with UNOCAL in 1998? In 1999, Taliban changed their mind and threw UNOCAL out of the country and awarded the pipeline project to a company in Argentina?
John Maresca, VP of UNOCAL testified before Congress and said no pipeline should be set until the Taliban were gone and a more friendly government was established?"

Christan terrorism?

Crusades
Witch hunts
Spanish inquisition
Irish republican army,
Ku Klux Klan,
Oklahoma City,
Abortion Clinic bombings,
Eric Rudolph,
Army of God
Democracy?

Of course you don't see that as terrorism do you?

Examples of women in Islam

He raised the status of women, when it was very low.

He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Heaven is below the feet of the mother."

He (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said when asked who was more worthy of companionship, mother or father? He said, "mother".

There was a woman who was known for being mentally unstable, she said that she wanted to speak to him, sometime. He (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said, "Sit on and street that you wish and I will sit with you."
Later she called him and he (peace and blessings of God be upon him) sat with her and listened to her.

During the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon) was wounded and bleeding heavily. He was preventing his blood from touching the ground when asked why he said, "The angels of wrath will come to these people if my blood touches the floor." A woman who was present in the battle came to his rescue and fought many men, she hamstringed many horsemen. She received several wounds that day and all she wanted to do was protect him. Later after the battle he was carried home and refused to enter his house for treatment until he heard the news that the woman who protected him was well and receiving treatment.

When his daughter would come into his gathering he would stand up, kiss her forehead and hand then sit her where he was sat.

There are so many examples, I am really sorry that I can't give you more.

Quran: who wrote it?

The fact he that he could not write any language, he did not spend time which Christan's or Jews as friends. Also the fact that the storeis about the Prophets in the Quran contain different details like the answer to why Joseph/Yusufs brothers why jealsous, its not in the bible but in the Quran.

The quran describes how the day turning into the light but a slow process, heres more.

O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).
( سورة الحج , Al-Hajj, Chapter #22, Verse #5)

Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!
( سورة المؤمنون , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #14)

Theres a book called 200+ ways that the Quran corrects the bible. It has been protected over the years and its in the same language as it was revealed.

What is Kufr/disbelief? What is faith/Eman?

This is a definition that my teacher taught me.

Kufr or disbelief is that someone disbelieves in what the Messenger of God Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This is not the Muslim god because God is for everyone but its based on the belief on the final Prophet that the people will be judged.

The definition of belief or Eman is the affirmation on the tongue to what the heart beliefs with the condition of not carrying out an act of disbelief like throwing the Quran away.

Anger

Jafar As-Sadiq (may Allah show him mercy) said, "Anger is the door to all evil."

The Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Those who are merciful have mercy shown them
by the All-Merciful One (Ar-Rahîm):Show mercy to those who are on earth, then He Who is in heaven will show mercy unto you."
(Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi).

So bear in mind when you get angry that Allah subhanu wa ta'ala has more power over you and think.

You should leave the room or go our somewhere and cool down. Its best to bite the tongue when you get angry.

Did the moon split?

Allah subhanu wa ta'ala make the balance and he can change it, miracles are changes of the norm or the breaking of the normal rules.

There was a report that an Indian king saw the splitting and when he heard about a new Prophet, he became a Muslim.

Also when other things were put together they were better than before. A companions eye came out the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put some saliva on it and put it back into its socket and it was better than before.

Below is a website that talks about the miracle.

Notes added.

Allah can do anything when he wants, however he wants, it is not incumbent for him to do anything.

The miracle of splitting the moon did occur and to reject this is to reject the Quran. [54:1]: “The moon has split and the hour has drawn closer”

The Quran is the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) greatest miracle. Jesus (upon him peace ) had no power to do anything at all, except by the permission of Allah subhanu wa ta'ala.

Jesus's (upon him peace) miracles are not symbolic, they are real events that actually occurred.

This person who believes these things is in danger of going astray because to reject the Quran is an act of disbelief. I cannot accept the new opioions of MAK, he may be a ultra modernist or a person influences by a strange group, they are not the majority.

And for those that state they are using the Quran as a source, if only they understood it,

[29:50] They said, "If only miracles could come down to him (Muhammed) from his Lord!" Say, "All miracles come only from GOD; I am no more than a manifest warner."

Islamic pension?

Even now in Non-Muslims have their own courts and laws.

One amazing story about Umar Ibn Khattab who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). Umar found a old Jewish man begging he asked him why he was begging? The man said that he had to pay tax. Umar commanded that he be given money from the public funds and scolded the governor of that city. Then put laws into place that old people would receive a wage when they became old. The first pension? This was in the years 634-644.

I created something

In Arabic the word Khaliq means to create, not just to create but to create from nothing, without there being a previous precedence.

So God created creation, without there being anything before it.

Now, what man is doing is mixing up a few things then presenting them.

Its like a cook who has lots of ingredients and makes a meal - does he create the meal or does he simply mix the ingredients? He mixes the ingredients this is what man is doing, mixing not creating. This is how a Muslim understands it anyway.

Ramadan

Fasting in Ramadan is part of the five pillars of Islam.

The month opens with sighting of the moon and ends with it, its from 29, 30 days.

At the end of this period a festival is declared and this is called Eid.

We have a pre-dawn meal and then fast from food and water until sunset, later on in that same day.

The month has many benefits people are freed from hell and religious action is rewarded in multitude in this month. Its a celebration for the universe.

Its also a mercy becuase people who are unrightous all year start to pray. It has many benefits in terms of health its like a natural detoxt. Infact there are too many benefits like on the day of judgement the bad smell that comes out of the mouth will smell like musk. There is a lot of reward in this month.

This is also the month that the holy books were sent especially on the 27th - called the night of power.

In fact there is so much that I might have missed something.

Heres some quranic verses please contact me if you need more advice.

" The month of ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desireth for you ease; He desireth not hardship for you; and (He desireth) that ye should complete the period, and that ye should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure ye may be thankful."
( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #185)

Muhammad in the bible (peace and blessings of God be upon him)

Only serious religious knowledge seeker read please.

Coming of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), fore told in other scriptures, like in Old Testament, New Testament, Hindu scriptures, and others.

http://www.irf.net/irf/comparativereligi...

Muhammad was predicted to come in the Gospel of John:

Just a quick note, the Arabic word "Muhammad" is an expression which means "The honorable one" or "The glorified one" or "The admirable". Prophet Muhammad was the first in the Middle East to be named "Muhammad". Below, you will see how Jesus in today's Gospel of John had called this human Prophet which he predicted his comming "The honorable one".

Jesus in the Greek Bible used the Greek word "Periklytos" which means the admirable or glorified one. He called that predicted human prophet "Periklytos". This word corresponds exactly to the Arabic word "Muhammad" which also means the "admired one" or "glorified one." In other words, "Periklytos" is "Muhammad" in Greek.

In the Bible we can find the following four passages wherein Jesus (peace be upon him) predicts a great event:

John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever"

John 15:26 "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me"

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 16:7-14 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you."

COMMENTARY
THe word Kader` confirms that this servant is prophet Muhammed ( pbuh ) because he is the only prophet who descended from Kader the son of Ismael

Danish Cartoons

To slander someone is an offence that can be taken to court.

The reason they don't understand is because the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) means nothing to them. Jesus (upon him peace) is slandered with an array of different insults which I equally disagree with.

You see for a people without faith this is difficult to understand.

Freedom of press is intrusive to most stars, they don't like being photographed on holiday or whatever.

People can express opinions nobody has a problem with that but as soon as you begin to offend or insult then you have crossed the line. Its as simple as that.

Many people in the west don't realise that they are controlled by the press and media. Then how can a system be just if its insulting and slandering people never mind Prophets and say well its okay, freedom of the press.

Freedom of the press was one of the worst tribulations of Princess Diana's life.

So if a person commits a crime they have to pay the price, its a simple as that. If only they knew who Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) they would understand.

On a different note many scholars have said this the people who drew the cartoons, did not draw him, they drew us.
They don't know him but they know us, Muslims really need to think about this.

The west and Islam

If it wasn't for Islam there would b be no western civilization it is that simple.

Muslims were the first ones to benefit from the knowledges of the nations that had passed. In terms of science, Astronomy, Mathematics and many other sciences.

For example is humanity the same without numbers system made by the Muslims? It would collapse with this system. Think about Algebra, its an Arabic word that means forced, this was a system that the Muslims made and that is now used in computers and all kinds of electronics.

If you take that out can the west survive? To be integrated for you means people leave any religion and become atheists.
Which is a path straight to punishment and you don't even know if you will be saved.

French government confirmed that the riots in France were not religiously motivated but due to the appalling conditions of the people there.

If you are scared of homegrown terrorists then there must be something here that is causing them to do this.

Does anyone blame Christianity for the crime in this country? So why should blame the Muslims, blame the criminals.

You can wash your hands of blame and say its that side that's a fault. There is two sides to every story and the truth lies in between these two sides not solely just to one.

Full name of Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him)

Arab tribes where known by lineage through their fathers to their tribes, hence they did not have first name and surname as we would understand here.

Muhammad, father was called Abdullah, who are part of the Hashim clan from the greater Qureshi tribe.

The name means one who is most praised, it was a name that was given to him by his grandfather who when asked why he gave him that name as it was uncommon, said, "I hope that he will be praised in heaven and on the earth."

Honest questions

1) does the Qu'ran outline Allah's reasons for his commands, or do you simply belief he is sovereign and has no need to explain anything to his followers?

2) is predestination (God set everything up to happen that way, he controls all) a core belief in Islam?

3) I hope this doesn't sound offensive, but I heard someone say that Muslim men can marry any monotheist (people of the Book) and muslim women can only marry the devout muslim men, as to keep them pure. is this true, or was I misinformed?

thanks!

You have asked some tough questions there and due to my lack of qualification, I may not be able to answer them correctly.

1. We have been informed about the benefits of some actions and not others the rest were filled in by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
For example praying five times a day, it may seem pointless but once you have performed over a period of time, you become a different person. More calm, more sound the heart is in a state of tranquility.
Paying charity this takes the greediness out of your money, you give and you feel much better about yourself and you don't feel so greedy.

2. We believe that God has given us free will but there are certain things we cannot avoid. We also know whatever he does for us this is the best.

3. Its partly true Muslim man can marry from the people of the book. The reason why a woman cannot is because the non-Muslim man does not believe what she does thus he is under no obligation to provide food, clothing or housing. Unlike the Muslim man who has to provide these things to his wife.

Moses, Abraham in the Quran

Basically it is a part of faith to believe in the Prophets (upon them peace) as mentioned above. A Muslims faith is not complete without it. We believe that they were Prophets (upon them peace) led exemplar lives etc. The only real difference is that we believe that Jesus (upon him peace) was a Prophet and not anything above that.

Below are links to the verses that the Prophets (upon them peace) are motioned.

"Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.
( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #136)"

A Christans questions

Does Islam support the concept that Religious beliefs and practices do not make someone a follower of God as opposed to a how they live their life?

In Islam the religion is a way of life, a person performs actions and responds in line with the Quran and the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)

-How should one read/use the Qur'an (e.g. can one take it literally and understand its message)?

The Quran should be taken as a guide, anything that someone is unable to understand should be taken to an exergite or taken to a rightous scholar who can access the tradition and then give you the correct meaning see website below.

-What is the reasoning/significance of religious practices such as praying five times and day?

These practices are put there to remind us about God primaraly and they are actions that are rewarded beyond belief, if done.

the Hajj rights are from Abraham (upon him peace), the sacrficie etc, the fasting from David and every Prophet, the charity from every Prophet.

The daily prayers: The first to pray Fajr was Adam upon him peace after he was taken out of heaven into the darkness of the world, in the middle of the night, he was overtaken by extreme fear. When dawn came and the light began to appear, he prayed to Allah ta’ala out of gratitude.

The first one to pray Zuhur was Ibrahim when it was called out, “O’ Ibrahim you vision is true,” this was at the time of Zawaal.

The first one to pray Asr was Yunis when Allah freed him from the belly of the whale and the prayer was in the time of Asr.

The first one to pray Magrib was Isa upon him peace, when Gibril informed him that his nation would call him one of a trinity then he prayed three units and this was after sunset.

The first one to pray Isha was Musa upon him peace when he arrived on a path that left Madiyan, he had four problems and he prayed four units.

The first one to pray Witr was the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him on the night of accession in the station of Gibril at the lote tree.

If I have failed to answer your question please email me then I can clarify.

Wives of the Prophet

Khadijah
Married to her for 23 years with no other wives. She was 15 years older than him. She was the mother to all of his children except one son. She was divorced, a wealthy business owner (trade company). He worked for her and she was surprised by his honesty and that he did not steal from her. She proposed to him.

Aishah
The only virgin he married. They were married while she was young but she did not live with his, nor was the marriage consumated until she reached puberty. This was a normal practise at the time. She was his best friends daughter. She is called his 'favorite' amongst the wives. She was 'fiesty' and often became jealous of the other wives, but mostly Khadijah because of his love for her even after her death. Khadijah dies beofre the marriage of the Prophet and Aishah. She was considered one of the first scholars of Islam and (i believe) narrated the most hadith (sayings) of the prophet.

Umm Salamah
She was a widow -- her husband died after many battles for Islam. She was proposed to by the greatest companions of the Prophet but she felt that no one could fill her husband's shoes. She accepted the Prophets proposal. She had four children (all fathered by her first husband). She was also quick witted and intellegent much like Aishah.

Umm Habiba
Was the daughter of Abu Safiyan, who was for a long time, a great enemy of Islam. Their marriage was controversal even until today, as many feel her fathers conversion was of defeat (of will power) not of sincere devotion, even though she was an early convert to Islam. Her first husband died in Abyssinia.

Zaynab bint Jahsh
Was first married to Zayd, who was the Prophets 'slave' and one of his best companions. The marriage did not work out although they were both good Muslims. Their marriage was actually a revelation for Allah and is in the Quran (al-Ahzab, 33.37). It was taboo for this marriage as Zayd had tried to divorce her but the Prophet said to stay and preservere, and now there was revelation for him to marry her.

Juwayriya bint Harith
He agreed to pay her ransom, set her free and offered to take her as his wife. How gladly Juwayriya accepted this offer can easily be imagined.

Safiyya
Was a Jewish woman who had been captured by the Muslims. The Prophet freed her and offered her the choice between remaining a Jew and returning to her people or entering Islam and becoming his wife. ‘I chose God and his Messenger’

Sawda bint Zam‘a
Her first husband died and was named Sakran. They embraced Islam early. As the only means of assisting the poor woman, the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace, though himself distressed for the means of daily subsistence, married Sawda. This marriage took place some time after the death of the noble Khadija.

Hafsa
Was the daughter of his other best friend Umar ibn al Khattab. Her first husband died in battle. She was like the other women he married, defenceless, no money and often windowed.

These marriages had nothing at all to do with self-indulgence or personal desire or lust or any other of the absurd and vile charges laid against the Prophet. With the exception of ‘A’isha, all of the Prophet’s wives were widows, and all his marriages (after that with the noble Khadijah) were contracted when he was already an old man(over 48).

It was customary for men at the time to have much more wives than the Prophet had. Among Muslims, he was the only one allowed to marry more than 4 wives as he was the most just. The muslim limit of marrying upto 4 wives was actually helpful to women at the time as it gave men a 'cap' and allowed them to be wives and not just property that was bought and sold. The marriages above were ALL real marriages with the Nikkah performed.

The only women who did not have the nikkah was Maria, however after having a child with a Muslim, a woman is released and the man must support her. She has basically the same status as a wife. She gave birth to Ibrahim. This child is still a controversy today, however the majority opinion is the 'he counts'. I feel horrible saying it that way, but it is true.

He had 7 children, three sons named Al Qasem, Abdullah (who is also called Al Tayeb and Al Taher) and Ibrahim, and four daughters, Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatima.

All but Ibrahim were born from Khajiah. All of his sons died at a young age. All of his daughters died before the death of the prophet except Fatimah, who died 6 months after his death.

Prohibition of pork

It is prohibited in the Quran.

"He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine,"(Al-Baqara, 2:173).

The pig meat contains tapeworms and other viruses naturally present in the meat and these are not removed thru being cooked.

It is also a meat that's full of fat that is bad for the health of the eater.

I know a few non-Muslims who have had food poisoning from eating pork, even in these times.

The rules in the Quran are eternal and man cannot change them according to his oneself, The creator of man knows whats best for man.

another answerer

The fact that consumption of pork is prohibited in Islam is well known. The following points explain various aspects of this prohibition:

1. Pork prohibited in Qur̢۪an

The Qur̢۪an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places. It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.

"Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah." [Al-Qur̢۪an 5:3]

The above verses of the Holy Qur̢۪an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why pork is forbidden.

2. Pork prohibited in the Bible

The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus

"And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you".

"Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you."
[Leviticus 11:7-8]

Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy

"And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass."
[Deuteronomy 14:8]

A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.

3. Consumption of pork causes several diseases

The other non-Muslims and atheists will agree only if convinced through reason, logic and science. Eating of pork can cause no less than seventy different types of diseases. A person can have various helminthes like roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, etc. One of the most dangerous is Taenia Solium, which is in lay man̢۪s terminology called tapeworm. It harbours in the intestine and is very long. Its ova i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack, if it enters the eye it can cause blindness, if it enters the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body.

Another dangerous helminthes is Trichura Tichurasis. A common misconception about pork is that if it is cooked well, these ova die. In a research project undertaken in America, it was found that out of twenty-four people suffering from Trichura Tichurasis, twenty two had cooked the pork very well. This indicates that the ova present in the pork do not die under normal cooking temperature.

4. Pork has fat building material

Pork has very little muscle building material and contains excess of fat. This fat gets deposited in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attack. It is not surprising that over 50% of Americans suffer from hypertension.

5. Pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth

The pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth. It lives and thrives on muck, faeces and dirt. It is the best scavenger that I know that God has produced. In the villages they don̢۪t have modern toilets and the villagers excrete in the open air. Very often excreta is cleared by pigs.

Some may argue that in advanced countries like Australia, pigs are bred in very clean and hygienic conditions. Even in these hygienic conditions the pigs are kept together in sties. No matter how hard you try to keep them clean they are filthy by nature. They eat and enjoy their own as well as their neighbour̢۪s excreta.

6. Pig is the most shameless animal

The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate. In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. many say "you sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife." If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives has become common in the affluent circles of Bombay.

God proof

A desert dweller was once asked how do you know God exists?

He said, “Well, when I see camel dung I know that camels passed by here. When I see footsteps in the sand, I know that someone had walked by. When I look around at the world, I can tell that something had to make this.” Ie. God.

Look at stars isn't the one who made this beauty, beautiful?

No problem with evil in Islamic theology

Christianity has whats known as the "problem of evil", if God is love why is there evil in the world?

We do not have this problem in Islam. We believe that God creates good and evil - although the evil does not return to him. Evil is created so we can know good, evil is what we have earned because of our actions.

As for the devil he was the most pious worshipper but he had something in his heart that only came out in a certain circumstances and that was the creation of Adam (upon him peace).

Know that both good and evil are under the control of God.

God: how we understand

What you have to understand here is God in his terms not in mans terms, what I mean is that there is a Christan belief that God is man, this is not how we view God in Islam.

We see his as the creator of everything and nothing is like, nor could anything come close. As I have said before compare this to man making a television, can the television understand man? Can the television accurately describe man? No why? because the television is limited. So when describes God he doing an injustice to his majesty. We describe the details as they are described in the Quran without interpreation.

So God is not a gender, neither is more than one, in fact God is one, In Arabic one is not a number, number start with two.
We worship one God that is God, the word Allah is another name for God. Christan Arabs call God Allah and in the bible translation of the Arabic they have the word Allah.

The best jihad?

There was once a man who came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he was on his horse and had his hand on his sword. He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "What is the best struggle for God?"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The best struggle is to speak the truth to an oppressive ruler."

Where does this come from? Moses (upon him peace) went to Pharaoh and called him to God. This was hard on him as Pharaoh refused. This story is repeated in the Quran, several times.

You the word Jhd means to struggle not to fight, the Arabic word for war is Harb. Jihad means to struggle not to fight.

Questions

There is a lot of scaremongering and mis-information about Islam at the moment. This will change but for the time being know that some media programs will try to enforce a stereotype of Islam.

There are certain institutions who want secular Muslims and want them to drop the sacred law basically but moderate Muslims. I don't think so, any Muslim is moderate due to his nature, he doesn't go to either extreme.

Salvation is through belief in God/Allah and his Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that's enough to get to heaven.

Islam is a religion that encourages peace, war is only an option in legitimate defense in our time. War is supposed to improve things if it does, then no one can justify war. The purpose of war is to make things better not worse like current events.

The Wahhabi/selefi leaders do not agree with this and they have different ideas and strangely enough Saudi, is the country with the best ties to western countries, yet this is where the extremists have got funding from.

Other religions and times

I am Muslim so I going to explain it how I understand it, you may not agree that fine.

Muslims believe that all the Prophets (upon them peace) preached monotheism and acceptance of their message in their respective time and place.

Each prophet’s message was valid in that time and place until other laws were revealed which abrogated those laws. I wish now to go the leading figures, three in particular.

Moses had the Old Testament, which was lost in diaspora and what was remember was eventually recorded. Now in the time between this was Prophets who backed up Moses (upon him peace) message until the promised Messiah came, Jesus (upon him peace). He was sent to the black sheep of the tribe of Israel, Jesus had the new testament which abrogated certain laws in the old. Jesus (upon him peace) lived like a Jew, he did not change anything other than what he was commanded. It was Paul who separated Judaism and Christianity not with Jesus (upon him peace).

Then if this was meant to be then why didn't Jesus (upon him peace) do it himself. He was the one who was able to do this, answer is that this was separation of the true faith that was with Abraham, which was pure monotheism. So could Christianity consider as a sect of Judaism?

One of the sons of Abraham (upon him peace) was Ishmael who left in the desert with his mother. From these Children tribes became clans and the final Prophet rose from here, he was called Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
SO this begins from Adam (upon him peace) and finishes with Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Now Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon) was given the Quran, some old rites of pilgrimage to Mecca are from Abraham (upon him peace). Stoning the devil, running between the two mountains, the sacred water -Zam Zam.

Other laws are extra like praying five times etc. Now, the difference with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is that his message was valid from his Prophethood until the end of time, including this time.

Islam makes it pillar of faith to believe in the Prophets, some of which I have mentioned.

Just to summarise each religion, holy text was valid until it was abrogated by the following text. Islam is the final message, the final religion for man.

As for people going to hell, this is not my place to say anything except this depends on personal circumstances and if the person rejects truth, if they have had the ability to accept it, what time and place they were, ability etc. Its not straight forward by any means.

If I have confused you please email me so we can discuss it further or so I can clarify some points. Good luck.

Prayer: where did it come from?

The obligatory movement of the Prayer came in the Quran such as reciting the Quran, bowing, prostrating.

Then the Angel Gabriel gave further details, like how to make ablutions, what time is prayer valid etc.

This was then passed onto the companions by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself.

Then passed onto the next generation and then onto the generation that recorded all these details and these works reach us now, in this time.

How Islam is in tune to the Previous Prophets

Maybe the question here should be does the Christain version of events fit the rest? the answer is no, Jesus was a pratacing Jew and did not make much changed to the sacred law. christatans believe that God is three then why is none of the Prophets claimed this, surely if they where prophets shouldn't they know? Why is it tht the trinty wasnt paret of christan theology until the roman emepore costintine forced it upon the people? Why is that many pagan symbols where adopted into Chrstaintiy, they used to worship on a saturday then changed it to sunday, the day of the sun.

Its christanity that doesnt agree with Jesus (upon him eace) not the other way round.

As for Islam, and Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him), the Hajj rights are from Abraham (upon him peace), the sacrficie etc, the fasting from David and every Prophet, the charity from every Prophet.

Islam is the old religion and Christanity is the new one.

Sacrificial lamb

This idea of sacrificial lamb comes from the pagan deity Mythra, he was known as the sacrifice that would bring the world out of sin. Yet this could any number of pagan deity's such as Baal, who is was believed was the son of the sun, he was born on December 25th, the exact time of the winter solstice and was killed for all our sins. Early christains used to worship on saturday and then it was changed to sun-day, the day of the sun!

The verses he has quoted is prove for sacrifice which was animal sacrifice not a human one. We believe that Jesus is in heaven and will return to kill the dajjal or anti-christ.

I'd advise you check out Ahmed deedats work, you can view it here, you'll have to scroll and join then you can view the video is Jesus a god?

Moses: who did he worship?

You have a great point, I was thinking about it before. Why is it that all the Prophets talked about God as being one, yet this is not what the Christan's believe.

They have their own beliefs which go against all the teachings of the previous Prophets. If the trinity had been true then why didn't the old testament mention it and why didn't the Prophets mention it.

Answer is this was added to the message after Jesus (upon him peace) maybe Paul? or a certain roman emperor?

Words in the Quran

Numbers of words repeated in the Koran:

Dunia (one name for life) 115 .
Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115

Malaika (Angels) 88 ; Shaythaan (Satan) 88

Life 145 ; Death 145

Benefit 50 ; Corrupt 50

People 50 ; Messengers 50

Eblees (king of devils) 11 .
Seek refuge from Eblees 11

Museebah (calamity) 75 ; Thanks 75

Spending (Sadaqah) 73 ; Satisfaction 73

People who are misled 17 ; Dead people 17

Muslimeen 41 ; Jihad 41

Gold 8 ; Easy life 8

Magic 60 ; Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) 60

Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32 ;
Barakah (Increasing or blessings of wealth) 32

Mind 49 ; Noor (light) 49

Tongue 25 ; Sermon 25

Speaking publicly 18 ; Publicising 18

Hardship 114 ; Patience 114

Muhammed 4 ; Sharee'ah (Muhammed's teachings) 4

Man 24 ; Woman 24

And amazingly enough have a look how many times the following words appear:

Salat (prayer) 5 , Month 12 , Day 365 ,

Sea 32 ; Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45

Sea = 32/45*100 = 71.11111111%
Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%
Sea + land = 100.00%

Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111% of
the earth, while the land covers 28.889%.

Is this a coincidence? Question is that "Who taught Prophet Muhammed
(PBUH) all this?"

Another miracle

Animal, rocks etc all believe in God although we cannot tell.

There was one fox that took a sheep from a flock and then the Shepperd got it back. The fox said to the Sheppard, "You have taken my provision from me and I will tell you something else, there is Messenger that has come."

The Sheppard found Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and became Muslim. Once some rocks were heard to be praising God in the palms of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Adultery: how is it proved?

This needs some explanation, here it goes.

To prove an adultery case there needs to be FOUR witnesses who saw penetration occur.

All their stories have to exactly the same, if one is different then the case collapses.

The witnesses need to upright, religiously and in other aspects. For example we would not accept the testimony of a person who is a known drunk or does not pray. Or a person who is known to lie.

As you can see there is a lot that is considered before a penalty can be applied.

One of the most conditions is that there need to be a Muslim caliph in power, or his deputy if neither are present then the penalty cannot be applied. There has been no caliph since 1924.

The Ottoman Muslim caliphate recorded everything and there was only 5 cases of this happening in a period of 500 years.

It is notoriously hard to prove. I hope this answers your question, please let me know if i haven't.

Significance of the kaaba

The Kaaba was the first house established for the worship of one God by the Prophet Adam (upon him peace).

Later this place would be visited by every Prophet, this can seen in every Prophets life when they went for forty days.

The Prophet Abraham (upon him peace) re-established this house with his son Ismail (upon him peace). Then it was taken care of by the progeny of Ismail and it was eventually was in care of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) tribe. The tribe that he was born into.

It is the Muslims direction in prayer and the place that Hajj rights are fulfilled, that Abraham first carried out.

Why are Muslims so religious?

Its because obeying the Creator is important to Muslims.

Within obedience there is reward that's why, its as simple as that. God will reward the women who cover up their beauty like Mary mother of Jesus covered herself.

Ask yourself the question if you disobey the king all your life but then want something from him, do you think he will give it? Why should the king give to someone who disobeys him?

But if someone obeys the king and is concerned in every action that is doesn't anger the king. How would the king feel about that person wouldn't he want to give to them.

Chose the where you want to be, its a simple choice.

Why praise God?

As far as the Muslims are concerned

If someones does you a favour and then you thank them, this is good manners, right? What about God who provides everything for you.

There are many reasons for praising God, I'll give you some God provides food, housing, health, security, water and many things you don't know. Especially living in the west, were most of us live like kings.

If you praise God it gives the soul piece of mind and light.

Jesus in the Quran 3

Sorry about this I say this in the Quran yesterday and I wanted to tell you about it.

If the Jesus (upon him peace) is mentioned in the Quran as Jesus the son of Mary (upon them both peace) and he is also mentioned as al-Messhiah or the Messiah son of Mary.

Also the anti-christ is mentioned in hadith not in the Quran as Messhiah ad-Dajjal or the Messhain imposter. Which you may now be able to understand this a bit better with what you know from the Christian tradition.

The Intial revelation of the Quran

There is a lot of disinformation her left me resolve it for you.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was given Revelation by the Angel Gabriel. Who appeared to him and commanded him to read, he said I am not a reader, the angel embraced him and commanded again. This happened three times. The final time he released him, he then recited the words of God, the Quran.

After this momentous event there was a gap in revelation, due to the intensive nature of bearing the Quran. He was so sad at being separated from which he was joined, to God. Then Revelation came again and continued up until his passing away.

There was no frothing at the mouth and the devil cannot give revelation, all he can do is whisper. And as per usual you adding to whats not there, aren't you. For a start the devil would not command you to read in the name of your lord , God, he wants to take you away from God. What was the first revelation? "Read, in the name of your Lord, the one who man mankind from a seed, Read And it is thy Lord the Most Bountiful, Who taught by the pen, Taught man that which he knew not.” Sura Alaq.

So according to you Satan calls to God???!?!?!? Of course Satan calls to himself, your accusation is baseless my friend.

Do Muslims hate Jews?

That's an excellent question. The dislike of the Jews is because of the state of Israel and its occupation of Palestine. This has roots within anti and pro Arab circles, so they are many factors at play.

I really dislike this and distance myself from people who say these things.

Five pillars in Islam

روي أنه قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: بني الإسلام على خمس شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وصوم رمضان وحج البيت.

It is narrated that the Prophet (pbuh) said: 'Islam is based on five things: declaring that there is no god, except the One God and that Muhammad is a messenger of God; establishing regular Prayer, paying Charity; Fasting in Ramadan and performing Hajj. (to Mecca)

Jinn

The Jinn can be good or bad, some are known to be followers of Islam and other religions. Some actually became Muslims during the life time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Satan is the king of the Jinn but has control of the bad ones not the good ones. Similar to Ghosts. They can live for hundreds of years.

Jews, Christans and Muslims living together

Sorry just to correct you there, Muslims, Jews and Christan's lived there in peace for centuries. Which some exception notably the crusades when all these groups were killed by the invaders. During the mandate there was still some peace but the mandate rulers did crush several rebellions by the people.

The reason why the county is in such a mess is because of what happened during the mandate. This is not unique in history or Islam, many Jews and Christans live in Islamic lands now, like they did then. Lets not forget Spain under Islamic rule.

Jesus in Islam 2

It is quite sad to think all the followers of these religions believe in God/Allah. Yet they disagree with each other.

Jesus (upon him peace) was called king of the Jews(Mathew 23.38), Why? If was living differently then he would've called something else. He was living like a Jew, so this confirms what came before. It was Paul who changed Christianity to what it is today, after the forcing of the trinity onto the people by the roman emperor Constantine.

Jesus (upon him peace) spoke in Aramaic and he "Peace be onto you." Mathew 24.36. Peace means salam in Arabic and to you means alikum. So what was he saying? Salam alikum, the Muslim greeting the same greeting that Adam (upon him peace) gave then angels.

The source is the same but people have changed the direction, its time to put this back together.

Can God make a rock so big he can't move it?

If you accept that he can make something out of nothing, then why can't he then move it. The question could never happen, ever.

Isn't making something out of nothing greater than moving something?

Final sermon

Jesus (upon him peace) ended with a sermon the mount and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) ended with the final sermon.

"O People,
Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People,
Just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest, Arabic: Riba); therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. ”

Allah has Judged that there shall be no usury (interest) and that all interest due to Abbas Ibn Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.

Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things. ”

O People,
It is true that you have certain rights in regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives, only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste. ”

O People,
Listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat.
Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefore, do injustice to yourselves. ”
“ Remember one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. ”

O People,
No prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listened to me directly.

Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people. "

There are schools of theogly in Islam.
