This is another fabrication. The Christians claim that hubal an old idol was a moon. This is a great fabrication of the truth. If you watch the film the message it clearly shows hubal as being a large red warrior like figure. In the book Foreign policy of the Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) he is described as, "Hubal, the figure of a man carved in red agate and holding seven wingless arrows in his hands." p.11
Also when the one of the pagan Quresh taunted the Muslims with the battle cry was, "Hubal, show your superiority!" (Ibid p. 209)
So this cleary states that it was not a idol of the moon. In fact Islam is a new religion. Also note all the pagan Quresh were horriffed about this new religion, if it was an old pagan symbol then why would the pagans have such a problem with it? Answer is that it was something new a religion without the old paganism. A new religion from the legacy of all the Prophets (upon them all peace.)

Moon refutation
As for Allah being a pagan name for a moon diety this can be easily refuted.
Heres seven reasons which refute them.
Christan missionaries claim there was a deity in the shape of a moon, but if you look the symbol is not a moon, its a cresent. Thats number one
2. The Cresent is not accepted by all the muslims some do not put it onto there mosques.
3. The pagan deity hubal was in the shape of man, so if they were worshipping a man. why was the first action of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) when entering mecca to destroy ever idol present there.
4. The cresent was taken up as a symbol of Islam by the Ottomans when the conquered constantinople. As there is was the sign of Mary mother of Jesus, it symbolised purity.
5. The name Allah is the same semetic root as the word ilohim in hebrew and "im" here is a plural of respect leaving Iloh which is the same word as what Jesus used whilst on the cross. "Mark 16.34 Jesus cried in a loud voice, "E-loI, E-loI La ma sa-bach'tha-ni" Which is, "My God, My God why have you forsaken me!"
Eloi means my God from the same word.
6. The Jews had the name Abdullah which means slave of Allah or slave of God.
7. To add to this point the pre-islamic Arabs would write agreements with, "Bisik Allahumma," which means in your name Allah.
8. This name predates all religions and it goes back to the Prophet Adam (upon him peace) pre-dating Islam! The word Allah is known and was known as the ultimate name of God.
This is enough for those who see with their hearts, as well as their eyes.

What is all this nonsense about Muslims worshiping a "moon god"?
Basically some Christan evangelist made this up and said that because Muslims use the symbol of the crescent; that was the symbol of the moon idol in Mecca.
This is rubbish because this is not a symbol universally used by Muslims, the Shia refuse this. Also it wasn't until the 16 century when it was used so how could this hold any water?

Islam doesn't have the moon as its symbol
Its never used the moon as a symbol. The crest was taken by the Ottomans in the 16th century and used from there because it used to symbolise Mary mother of Jesus.
Numbers don't mean anything, in the tradition there are states are what Islam is build on.
The veneration of the Kaaba originated from the remnants of the Abrahamic religion. Abraham (upon him peace) the founder of monotheism build the Kaaba with his son Ismael and the hajj rituals and fasting have some Abrahamic root. This is historically proven because there people just before the advent of Islam that were known to be on the religion of Abraham.
Please find more reference and I will prove you that there is no foundation to your claim.
You see the trinity negates all the belief systems of the entire previous prophets whats the first and second commandment, there is one God and do not make idols of me. this means that Moses did not believe in the trinity does that mean he is not going to heaven? no so where does the fault lie? The Trinity was an idea formed in the 4th century and many Christan monotheist refused this like Arius.
So dear friend what you say need to be proved and this cannot be. because not all groups except the crescent.
